Our Classroom
Diverse Learning Environments
Infants
Our infant program is intended to provide a nurturing, home-like environment. This area is designed for playing, relaxing, as well as stimulating growth and development. The children are grouped in a manner that is similar to a family environment. Children learn best from peer interactions. Parents of infants understand that schedules may change from day to day. We will try to maintain the same schedule that is used at home. Please let us know if there are any changes in your child’s feeding, behavior, or sleeping times. We will fill in the remainder of the time with: Cuddling, Rocking, and One-on-one interaction. Teachers will also do sensory play with the children such as water and finger paint.

Toddlers
This program is for children who have a lengthening attention span and are ready for more challenging activities. Children in this program will also start or continue working on potty training. Circle time will be longer in this program and will consist of longer stories, colors and shapes, and counting. Art activities will also be more challenging and developmentally appropriate for the age group. All activities are planned to help better prepare children for preschool. Children in this program have a morning and afternoon snack with milk or juice. During all meal times this age group is encouraged to eat by themselves. This program is a big step for children but we believe it is developmentally appropriate and the best for the children.
